You can check out Lyngsat or Sathint for a list of free channels in english. There are a lot more on C band than Ku band, but it's even better if you have both.

Need to be a bit more specific as to entertainment channels bud. Also qpsk is just sd, did you mean s2/qpsk+8psk?

Thank you all!I guess I should have asked about sd channels with network type programs.
Will, everytime I go on Global's site I can't find any links to their info pages(such as the one you provided),only their products page.??
SatChick, thanks.Since Equity disappeared ther hasn't been much on ku to choose from.I wish I could get 72w.I think a 1m may be too small for 72 at my cocation,Lat 45.72,Lon -63.78.Lyngsat doesn't give that anymore.I'll try Dish Pointer.com.

A 1m dish for Amc 6 is more than sufficient, the Nbc Mux is a very strong tp. Most other type of net channels are found on c band sd and especially hd.

99w C-band has a full set of East Coast nets, and there are many feeds on the Ku side as well.

I tried to get it last year unsuccessfully.I started setting up my ku motor and had to switch to a SC 75E dish (26x36") because the 1M dish kept slipping when adjusting the elevation.I have 101,97,83 on it but it did not pickup 72 when I selectet it with the stb.I didn't have time to fine tune anything yet.we had a noreaster last week and its been rainy, windy and cold ever since.Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny but only about 6dC (42F).I have 82 on one of these,on that bassis should I be able to get 72??
