Weights: Manny Pacquiao 144.6, Antonio Margarito 150

The weights are in for the biggest boxing event of the year. On Saturday night at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito will clash for the vacant WBC junior middlweight title. The first fighter on the scale was Margarito, who was shredded to death and made the catch-weight of 150-pounds on the nose. Pacquiao came on next, not as cut as Margarito, and weighed closer to a junior welterweight at 144.6-pounds.

On The Undercard

Junior Welterweights - Brandon Rios 140 1/4, Omri Lowther 137

Welterweights - Mike Jones 145 1/4, Jesus Soto Karass 148

Super Bantamweights - Ricardo Cordoba 121, Guillermo Rigondeaux 121.5

Man it's going to be a great fight,,I was fortunate to watch Manny Pacquiao's last 2 fights he was great against Oscar,,they had to stop the fight TKO,,& Ricky Hatton got cleaned out in the second round barely made it past the 1st,,good luck Manny!!!.who ever wins deserves it..

Wow I wonder how much weight Margarito will gain till fight time, to me he looks really drawn out where Manny looks very comfy. Will be a great fight for as long as it lasts since neither guy backs up.

LOL I think you are correct, most fighters with stomachs like Margaritos for whatever reason cannot take alot of body blow, perfect example Tommy Hearns against Marvin Hagler.

Arum and Roach are the masterminds behind this trick of catch weight thing. Draining opponents to the max just like Dracula. Taking them to the slaughter house later on and beating the hell out of them. They did the same chit with Cotto.

Bad example, hearns had flamingo legs. The mex is much stronger on the extremity. Hagler was much taller than the filipino. Only speed will be the difference, and if Manny goes to the jaw, he may be surprise with the tornado's ability to take a punch. He must strike his ears to ko him. On the other part, the Mex must fight tall not do like Marquez did with Juanma. Fighting tall is his only chance.
