That is a universal lnb that can be used for true fta. Although the lnb can pick up the higher band, it's linear and will not work for dn or bev.

Thanks,
Im confuse about its setting, What would be the correct settings for my cnx receiver for true FTA i have read that I have to select "Univeral" for the LNB type and then enter lower and higher settings. But i see only one option LNB frequency in the setup menu on my cnx box.
I tried it on 118 dn with 10750 frequency but it did not worked.
I do understand i need a bigger dish for FTA but Can you tell me with a bigger dish and this lnb what satellites i would be able to get??
Also its 0.6db, would it be worth to keep it ??

That lnb will not work for 118.8 since it's linear. You need a special low band circular lnb for that sat. If you use it for any other linear fta sat put 9750/10600 as your lnb frequency.

..and 0.6 dB noise is pretty high .
Lower ,0.1~0.3dB, is better

thank u for the reply. I wasn't hoping high that its going to work for 118.
But can you please name few linear sats it can work with (plus a strong TP #on it). I just want to test it to see if it works.
