- During an interview on Right After Wrestling yesterday night, former WWE wrestler Jimmy Yang took credit for bringing the "Celtic Warrior" Sheamus to World Wrestling Entertainment, saying, "I'm the one who got Sheamus his job." "I picked him out in Milan, Italy and said, 'I'm gonna test this guy out' and look at him now, he's done great. I saw the workouts earlier and they told me that I could work with anyone I wanted. It came down to him and another German guy. I went to both guys and I asked, 'Who does Italy hate the most, Germans or Irishmen?' They both told me Irishmen, so I ended up picking Sheamus to work that night. The rest is history."

could be dishdude. they have been pushing him lately. they gotta do something. i like morrison but they went the wrong way with him from the start. johnny nitro...come on. that name aint gonna work then they changed it to morrison. they missed their chance the name could work but that entrance and fur coat has to go. he's a great wrestler but yea, he needs that push. i would like to see him beat sheamus but i dont think he will. i hope at the same time they start to make sheamus a loser. he already lost to santino. just a good laugh but i've seen them take so many good wrestlers and give them the title and then they never win another match. i dont know what they're thinking.

I agree with you zoogor, but since he looks like Jim morrison i guess they want the rock star glam look for him...I like him too, John is very athletic and can put on a great match....he was the ECW champ i belive....if not i gotta check my tapes

yes he was the ecw champ and multi time tag champ. im thinking intercontinental as well but that one im not sure of.

yes he was ic champ he won it on nov 6th 2006 and lost it to jeff hardy on oct 2nd '06 then won it again sept 1st '09 and lost it dec 13th '09 to drew mcintyre.

Who has the WWE actually given a push to lately?It seems like they start to give someone a push then they stop and back off then go to someone else.It`s a shame wrestling isn`t like it used to be when the wrestlers who knew how to cut a promo and the fans liked got the push and most actually got to hold a belt for awhile.Morrison is alright but just doesn`t have the personality or something is missing not like the Pipers,Hogans etc. of old.

Well wrestling is an everchanging landscape, if we rely to much on the pass then were doomed to repeat it. Yes WWE has being a little bland lately but what wrestling orgnizations hasnt?
