On November 12, 2010, former WWF, ECW and TNA talent Matt Hyson, best known under the ring name Little Spike Dudley, officially retired from professional wrestling during an Fall River, MA event promoted by Top Rope Promotions, where Hyson had been an integral part of the promotion in recent years.
Hyson was a two time ECW World Tag Team champion with Balls Mahoney and in the WWF, held the Cruiserweight, The Hardcore, The European and the Tag Team championship with Tazz. Renowned for his incredible ability to take punishment, Hyson was always an extremely underrated, hard working performer and probably was one of the most well liked individuals in every locker room he worked in.
