Is this really a study or just a funny depicting the hooked on phonics learning method where if it sounds close in your mind you connect the dots? I would say the majority would be able to read it- and thus would shatter their 55% lol'ol

And to add, the newer generation would probably be @95% able to read- simply because it's a lot easier to read than some text messages :yes:
