Is your dish pointed and locked at sat 118w are you using the proper setting.

you could post your scanning setting and your hardware setting and type for a better picture if that would be possible.

Some single LNB's will only pick up just one sat and in the case of 118.8 and 119 it picks up 119 probably because it likely has the stronger signal.

Some single LNB's however will pick up both 118.8 and 119 at the same time.

Do a google search for 'circular 118/119 10750 lnb' or you can find them on Ebay by doing a search for '118 LNB' and you will see some LNB's that will pick up both at the same time.
