Not quite sure what is it that you're inquiring about..... but do you want to use your diakl up connection to do card sharing? If so one way to go about it is to enable network sharing on the pc and connect via cat5 cable or if the receiver if some distance from the pc use powerline adapters .

You'll have to use the PC with the modem as a bridge.... That PC will need a wired connection to the router's WAN port with a regular CAT5 cable. You'll then have to bridge the connections (XP will set this up for you, select both connections in the network connections panel, right click, and select "Bridge Connections".

Dial up connections don't offer very much bandwidth, it'll be very slow with multiple users....

There are wireless routers that will do a dial-up connection for you using a external modem. I have a d-link di-824vup that does it quite well and think the older barricade routers are capable too. These routers have a com port on the back and use a separate box to dial-up, zoom modems seem to work well, and the connection was meant to be a back-up for the early high-speed connections. I don't hold much hope for you to find one though, so using your pc for the connection would be an option. You share the dial-up connection in networking on your pc, set the pc up to be a network server, and use your computer for the connection. Wireless will work for your devices but your router does need to be connected with a wire to the computer establishing dial-up, then the other devices can be wireless or wired. It can be done but is painfully slow if more than one computer is connected and being used- it's dial-up lol'ol
