On Canada is very hard to pick Caribe satellite.

There are several sats for many open Spanish channels. As Gold noted Satmex 5 and 6 on c band have the most. Other sats include Hispasat as mentioned above, Intelsat 805 and Intelsat 9 also have quite a few. Finally quite a few can also be found on Nss 7 at 22w.

The Hipasats 1C and 1D both have North America footprints that according to Satbeams.com can be picked up with a 30" dish in Southern Ontario.

Both had some True FTA on TV and Radio, looked like 1C had more TV channels open.

thanks everyone but perhaps I should have posted that C band wasnt an option and only KU band lnb on a 36 in would be used. not familiar which ones here were mentioned are c band and the other ku band.

If were dealing only with ku band, then Hispasat is your best bet and you should get very good signal quality from where you are with a 36" dish.

Can i display the spanish channels with any stb?
Some of these channes are in DVB-S?
does any one can tell us what stb are usign to display these birds?

Most any Receiver will decode DVB-S anymore

They'll all decode DVB-S.....
