Herschel Walker’s MMA Debut Date Set

According to the Showtime Boxing and MMA
calendar released today, Herschel Walker's MMA debut will take place on January 30th in Sunrise, FL. Right now, the only fighters listed for the show are Herschel Walker and Strikeforce Women's Champion Cris Cyborg. This is the first Strikeforce event scheduled after the December 19th Evolution event.

Did not get a chance to watch this event but I understand Herschel put in one helleva effort. They also went on to say that while he will not be of championship caliber, he did amazingily well for a 47 year old!

At 47, I think they are correct in saying he will not be championship material, but he is an amazing athlete, and can give alot of fighters a run for their money.
