WOW, just 2 nights ago, either Discovery Channel or History Channel or TLC had a show on how to protect yourself from this. Well, actually it was how to hide your identity but they had a segment on just this form of crime and the simple solution is to wrap your cards in tinfoil or line you wallet with tinfoil.

I saw they're selling aluminum wallets now that are supposed to guard and block rf transmission. I don't like the idea of carrying something that is broadcasting my info anyways- but that's just me. Guess I'm just old fashioned lol'ol
