I recently had the 302 in my 1987 F150 rebuilt. It's running perfectly. However, my horn isn't working and I can't even find it? I feel pretty stupid on this one. LOL Where did they hide that sucker?

In an 89 they are underneath the truck at the drivers side headlight. There should be 2 horns right below the headlight.

It might be the horn relay that's gone bad - usually located behind the glove box - do you hear a clicking sound when you depress the horn button?

Hi Oak..It should be right behind the grille mounted on the driver's side of the header panel (rad mount)....You may have to remove the grille to get at it...:sun:

Rick, I'll look here after a bit.

Thanks guys! Oh, and Merry Christmas!

Hope you get your horn working. You're gonna need it for New Years eve.

horn itself is most likely open/inoperative, especially if the relay is clicking,
they ingest a lot of dirt and water being located in the frt/grill area
