A gentle poem of remembrance
To those who are no longer here with us on earth
Forever in my heart

I remember when you were here with me
Now you are where the Angels Sing
Your gentle, loving smile I see, just like it was yesterday
I know you had to go but nothing has ever been the same
Tears of sadness will fall on Christmas Day
As I look to another New Year, I don't want it to be without you
I have to do it though, I must try again this year

You are the Angel within my heart
A precious Angel who has your name.
Watching over me every day and keeping me safe
You will always be so close to me as I carry you in my heart
