Hi Forum,

I had the 1350 printer working on a Dell 1100 laptop, then one day it popped up
a message when I tried to scan a photo, missing a file needed for scan operation. I looked on the software disc and could not find file needed. Soooooo I decided to uninstall all the HP software and reinstalled the complete software, well what a problem that is!! The CD starts goes to about 47% then zips to 100% and some icons show but nothing is working. I tried it 15 times removing and reinstalling. It just will not complete.
Any ideas??
Thanks
Pilot

Sounds like to me the HP software was never fully uninstalled. Too many reminants in the registry. Try a program like Wintools and clean out the registry of HP.

HP has a "scrubber" tool (at least for psc 2210) to remove all traces of previous installs. Check at HP.com for the scrubber and updated software / drivers. I know the psc2210 has several updates available.
