Cobra.....
I`ll confess I haven`t seen a lot of Olivier Roy----but I`ve seen enough of him in the last 3 games that would tell me I don`t want to see any more of him in this tourney. Not much of a decision for me at least of giving Mark Vesiten his shot. Roy`s style in itself of a pure butterfly goalie has led to his demise so far---he`s predictable, go down first and hope the puck hits you is not cutting it as the Swede`s proved by going high and beating him almost at will. That style in itself leads to the seemingly spectacular save while a positional "stand up" goalie makes the same save routine. True, Canada was outshot by Sweden but Roy wasn`t under any great seige of undo pressure that he didn`t cause himself by leaving all those fat rebounds. JMO

It looks like Team Canada head coach Dave Cameron has a decision to make in net ahead of Sunday's quarterfinal.
After Olivier Roy's performance against Sweden on Friday, Cameron will have to either stick with Roy or go with Mark Visentin.
While Canada was vastly outshot for the bulk of the game against Sweden, with the Swedes finishing the shootout win with a 42-34 advantage in shots on goal, Roy was beaten short-side high more than once, and any time that's the case, people will say that the goaltending wasn't good enough.
While Roy was under seige for a lot of the game, he also kicked out some rebounds that ultimately ended up in the back of the net.
I believe that if Friday's game had been an elimination game, that there's a good likelihood that Roy would have been pulled, but he remained in the game largely due to the fact that it looked like Cameron wanted Roy to find his groove.
Unfortunately Roy didn't find that groove in the game or the shootout.
Now Canada will not only have to play a quarterfinal game, but they'll have to make a goaltending decision.
