Need Help with Netopia Router !!!!

Need Help with Netopia Router !!!! I got a Netopia Router along with many other items at auction.. Tonight I connected to one of my childrens computers only to find that it is pass word protected and now the computer will not allow log on ?? I need help from one of you experts to remove the Pass Word and how to correct PC error .... Thanks in advance ....

Factory Reset

* Make sure the router is plugged in and turned on.
* Turn the router over; with the front of the router (where the LED's are) facing you, you will see a small slot on the underside of the router about halfway back on the right.
* Insert the metal paper clip (Tip: Don't unfold the paper clip) into the slot until it stops. You should hear a distinctive clicking sound from the modems. Remove the paper clip.
* The router will now reboot itself and you should see the LED's cycle and run through the boot-up sequence.
* The router is now at factory default settings as it was shipped. It will have an Ethernet IP Address of 192.168.1.1 with an Ethernet Subnet Mask of 255.255.255.0, and will begin serving 100 DHCP IP addresses starting at 192.168.1.100.

have you tried a hard reset?

It is not new and tried rebooting .. I will try the paper clip thing.. That sounds like the answer ... Thank you very much for the reply .....
