Any Fedor updates?

Haven't heard anything concrete about Fedor's next match... Any new info out there? Or rumors as far as that goes.

Strikeforce announced on Jan. 4 that they had come to terms with M-1 Global on a new multi-fight agreement to promote events headlined by Fedor “The Last Emperor” Emelianenko.

The first fight under the new contract will take place on Feb. 12 at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, N.J.

Fedor will step into the cage against Antonio “Big Foot” Silva. The Fedor vs. Silva fight will be one of four quarterfinal fights in a Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix Tournament.

The February event will also feature one other quarterfinal bout: Andrei Arlovski vs. Sergei Kharitonov.

The other two quarterfinal bouts do not have set dates as of yet, but the bouts will be Alistair Overeem vs. Fabricio Werdum and Brett Rogers vs. Josh Barnett.

Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker had the following to say in regard to Fedor’s new contract, “We are thrilled to have come to a long-term agreement with Fedor and M-1 Global.To have the greatest MMA fighter of all-time put his legacy on the line in a single-elimination tournament will truly captivate MMA fans worldwide.

"Strikeforce is home to the best heavyweight division in the world; the athlete who runs the gauntlet in a tournament such as this would have to be considered the best heavyweight fighter in the world."

For his part, Fedor offered the following, “I have been training very hard since my last fight and can’t wait to get back in the cage. Strikeforce has assembled a roster filled with the best heavyweights in the world and, together with M-1 GLOBAL, we have the opportunity to fight the best in a great tournament format.”

Don't understand why they have Overeem and Werdum in the 1st round and these two guys in the same bracket with Fedor in the tournament. The arrangement should be Fedor and one of these guys in finals.
