Does anyone know why there is no sound on RFD TV on AMC 3/C? It's been out for quite a few days already. I'm going to try to rescan and see if it helps.

What stb are you using? What tp?

Right now, I am using a Pansat 2700, a Coolsat 5000 premium, and a friend is using my old Viewsat 9000HD. No sound on any of them, not even using AC3.

I rescanned the transponder and still only picture and no sound.

Are you sure were talking about Amc 3 at 87w? I'm getting no signal on 2 stb with my 10' bud. Just so I know I'm on the right sat, the Nasa channels are scanning in here at 95% signal quality.

Sorry Costactc. I meant to write AMC 1/C which is at 103.0 W.
My mistake. I have sound on the ION channels and everything else, just not RFD.

I went through my documented channel list and saw that it was on Amc 1 at 103w. I'm getting audio on that channel in Ac3 on my openbox, obviously no dolby audio on my cs6k so no audio.

Are you using the proper optical wire hooked up to a tuner or surround?

I had to rescan my cs5000 and I have sound now on my AC3 receiver. I guess they have switched over, because I've never had a problem with it before. I'll have to rescan my friend's receiver for him, as he was the one who told me there was no sound, even though the Viewsat 9000HD will play the AC3.
