Here is a list for true FTA channels in KU that you can try to get with your dish and a linear LNB. Mpeg4 you would need an HD STB.

-----------------------------------

Quite a few of the people here use a big BUD dish for true FTA as some are on C-Band and they can also get the KU-Band if they have a dual LNB feedhorn.

There's also ftalist.com , which I find rather incomplete...

I am in Saskatchewan and am set upwith a 39in dish ,motor and Ivercom LNB. A moter system is almost a must for True FTA . I use TRACKSAT to get the iNformation I need . WhIle I have a number of FTA recivers I prefuree the Fortec Murcry II or my Fortec Classic NA . I am hitting 23 sats in my ark with great resaults . I watch Histroy & BIO ,RTV and Tuff , NEWS NOW , and RIVER BOARD . There is a snow storm today but no bother to my recepsion . HOPE this is of help to you . I have not tryed the fortec ultra But I find the Fortec is easy to work with .

Settin up a moter system is quite easy if you follow instructions. Once you have the motor set on your south sat . Useing urisel s Your reciver will move the dish to point any set you enter

Have a look at lyngsat for what open channels there are on ku band. Your pansat or fortec stb would be ideal for true fta. Once you've established what sat you want, I would suggest investing in an hd stb. Also, motorising your dish will open up a world of fta channels on about 20 sats.

Satbeams in upper left corner have "Transponders news" for new chns. and new TPs.
