In my opinion, the ultra is one of the best hd stb out there. The only problem I have with the ultra is its blind scan is as slow as molasses, I'm using the openbox s 9 for blind scan. I'm picking up that channel with 82% signal quality on my openbox.

Yes it is a great stb, now i'm able to watch the Fox HD on Int805, the cs8100 never play it fine just freezing every 3 or 4 seconds and sometimes rebooting by itself.

Sounds like it's time to retire the 8100.

I've been heard that still work for some weaker hd 4:2:0 feeds that azbox sometimes doesn't scan in, and also i'm still using it for its ATSC tuner, no HD TV set here yet (that would be my next addition to the system).
