According to a recent interview with BBC Radio Five Live, WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch will likely defend his title against Glen Johnson in the Super Six semi-finals on May 21. Froch is pushing for the fight to take place in England.
"Of my last four fights, only one was at home and that was at at 3am in the morning," Froch said. "I would love England to give my fans the chance to see me in action, but this is world-class boxing and sometimes you have to get away to the States."
"I've signed up to the Super Six with American TV network Showtime, so I have not really had the full say on where and when. I will do what I can but I would like to do it [the Johnson fight] in England."
