PITTSBURGH -- Ben Roethlisberger hit rookie Antonio Brown on a 58-yard pass play on third-and-19, and Rashard Mendenhall scored from the 2 with 1:33 remaining to give the Pittsburgh Steelers a 31-24 comeback victory over the Baltimore Ravens in an AFC divisional playoff game Saturday.

The Steelers, 9-0 against division teams in the playoffs, advance to their fifth AFC championship game in 10 seasons next Sunday -- at New England if the Patriots beat the Jets on Sunday, in Pittsburgh if the Jets win.

The Steelers (13-4) were trailing 21-7 at halftime after turnovers created two Ravens touchdowns. But they came back with the help of three Baltimore turnovers during one of most miserable third quarters in Ravens history. And the Ravens' minus-4 yards in offense during the quarter wasn't the worst of it.

Thanx for the post todd-----great to see 2 great defenses go at it in the playoffs...nothing better. I too was cheering for the Ravens but the Steelers are becoming the "cardiac kids" of football winning important games in the last seconds one way or another.
While I`ll be the first to congratulate the Steelers and their fans, we have to be a little real here tho......besides the horrid show on offense that the Ravens showed in the 3rd quarter the reality was that the Steelers got a ton of help from the officiating or lack of it right thru the game. The non-call of piling on, the non-call of the headbutt and lo and behold in the dying minute----a HOLDING call on a defensive lineman??? I`ve watched football for over 50 yrs and can count on one hand the number of holding calls on a defensive lineman I`ve ever witnessed---and to call it here and now is simply ridiculous. Ravens themselves were idiots for rushing 3 lineman in the last Pitts drive---it hadn`t worked all game and Ben had all day to throw that amazing pass on 3rd and 19---and with a little help from the ref when their drive stalled in side the 5...that`s all they needed.
