Internet Explorer!

Can anyone please tell me how you uninstall Internet Explorer completely ?
I am having all kinds of conflict with Google Chrome as Explorer keeps trying to take back control.

i dont think you can but if google chrome is set as your default browser you shouldn't have any trouble. this is odd. i use chrome with no trouble at all. i love it. maybe uninstall chrome and re download it and set it as default browser.

There should be the option to set it as default, probably under tools, options, advanced (that's it for firefox)
You can remove ie though- but to view your hard-drive and everything else on your pc it would need to have the other browser take over the task. For that it's control panel -> add/remove programs -> add/remove windows components (left side)- but not advised for most users

EDIT: just followed my own steps for removing and see it only removes access to it in start menu. Best to just set chrome to default

I have used Chrome and other browsers because explorer is just too slow and this is the first ime I have ever come across this problem.
For now I have deleted chrome and am using explorer. Will try and reload chrome again later in the week.

Explorer is part of windows install...you uninstall newer version threw software in control panel...but if you go to program tab in option...just un check to use explorer as default.

That will take the nag away .

Not saying you can not remove..I wouldn't .
