X4 problem anyone?

hey guys,

for the pass two - three days the quality on any channel on X4 has been jumping from 80+ percentage to zero back to 80+ in a few seconds. . .the dish is not movin that much to sayin its the wind. . .im hopin the LNB is not dying. . .if i get no responce by the time i return home i will movin the dish to a fta c band sat and see what happens on the fta stb.

I've watched the Encore Westerns channel Ch321 for a few hours the last couple days in a row and the quality level has been fine here in Kansas, I just checked and my quality is rock solid at 91.

It could be your coax if its very old, years ago I had an intermittent loss of signal on all my channels and after a while I had no signal and no power going to the LNB, I changed the coax and right back up.

If the outer cover gets a cut in it or rodents chew on it deep enough water can seep in and ruin the copper core.
