This is my setup:

one dish with two legacy LNB's pointing to 110 and 119

One dish with one LNB pointing to 129W

4X1 Diseqc switch

Ok so here's my problem I have a sonicview 8000hd that i bought recently, I have no problem getting a perfect signal from both 110 and 119, however 129 shows a very low Q and S, so I tought it was the 129W dish that needed some tweaking so I connected the coaxial from 129W straight to the receiver without the switch and the S and Q are ok now, so this leaves me to believe that the switch is bad, I tried changing the ports on the switch and also with a second Diseqc switch and I got the same problem when all 3 sats are connected.
If I only have 2 sats connected to the swicth at the time either 129 and 110 or 129 and 119 it works fine.
so what are my options here? is there a different kind of switch that I can use that controls 110 and 119 and 129 is on a separate cable and then to the receiver or something like that?

Thanks

you need a 2nd receiver connected or a power inserter. it sounds like your receiver simply isn't putting out enough juice to power 3 lnbs

I have a second receiver but is connected to a different switch, so do you think that if I use a 3x4 instead and connect both receivers that will fix the problem?

Thanks

A 3x4 switch won't work for your application, it's only good for one satellite. Are the two switches, and the dishes grounded? Improper grounding can cause all kinds of weird issues.

Does it work with the second receiver disconnected?

the 3X4 switch is good for 3 different LNBs and 4 receivers.
No the dishes are not grounded but I had the exact same setup working fine with my Nfusion HD and never had any issues, so this leads me to believe that is the new receiver not having enough power.

The question is what can I do to fix the issue?
Switch with Dc power supply/power inserter?

thx

The 3x4 switch is good for ONE LNB connected to up to four receivers,

You dont mention what kind of LNB you have pointed at 129 (standard DP, DPP)?
What kind of switches are you using? The type that came with the receivers or a name brand such as Chieta or EMP?

Ok got the issue fixed.

Bought a $25 German 4X1 Disecq switch according to the guy the best one out there, hook it up all 3 LNB are showing a strong signal.
Here's a pic of the switch the brand is BAFF germany
