A little something I did for my boy:
I lay him in his crib, we call it "putting him on his shelf",
and I watch him sleep , look at his little face and think to myself..
What a beautiful little guy we have , he is my very life,
I am grateful for all that I have , My health, My kids, My Wife!
Now I lay me down to sleep, when he's older we will pray,
for now , it's "ahh" and "momma" , is all that he will say.
Soon he will wake up, and then begin to cry,
and when I go to get him, he sees me and then sighs.
His laugh is unforgettable , you can't get it out of your mind,
there are so many things that I could list, that make him one of a kind!
Just sneek a glance, and he will give you a grin..
hold him in your arms, and your heart he will win.
The happiest baby in the world, we should have named him "smiley",
He is my little bundle of joy, and his Name is Riley!
