Hugh Hefner took to Twitter to reveal a new bare-all Playboy magazine app is on the way.
"Playboy on iPad will be uncensored, Hugh," the nude mag founder tweeted Tuesday.
Answering fans' questions, the 84-year-old said the iPad version will include every issue of the magazine from first to latest.
Last August, Hefner said the app would be "available on iPad without the Playmates. Steve jobs has a thing about nudity."
But it appears Playboy officials have bypassed Apple's no-nudity rule by offering the uncensored app as a web-based subscription, not in the App Store.
The service, to be launched in March, will "utilize iPad functions," a Playboy spokeswoman said.
Another no-nudity version is in the works for the App Store, she added.
