I continually see alot of requests for Bev in the wish lists, and as a fellow canadian who was a subscriber to canadian tv for what seemed like forever, and now that I have access to bev on PS, I'm curious as to why the draw to want bev.
persoanlly I don't get it, since I find it a very inferior provider, and am interested to hear what the big draw is!?
Keep it civil, no begging or bashing, cause its just curiosity.
thanks
Only things I would see is local content , french content. Most of the other channels are the same . Some additional sports coverage from TSN and RDS.. Or maybe they want to get the Venus content but I doubt that will happen..LOL

ummmm....
1. NFL Sunday Ticket. Yeah i know DN carries it too.
2. InCar Nascar.
3. Nascar (many times the nascar was scrambled thru DN during the season, but it was old faithful on b3v -PS).
4. SuperBowl.
5. Olympics - couldn't find on DN most Olympian days. But it was open all over the board on b3v thou.
6. Grey Cup.
7. World Series was found only on the DN NewYork/Chicago locals most games, but b3v had it on half dozen locals :)
8. All the various locals across Canada.
9. GolTV in Spanish and English
10. Channel 420 (no, not the 420 your thinking of :tehe:) The Senta Sports channel.
11. All the various Canadian locals.. did I say that already??
I could probably carry on...
12. 500 plus channels on on satellite.
13. French channels.
14. HD channels that didn't need a 8spk modulator at one time, (that has changed thou, i think)
In all honesty, b3v carries better sports coverage then the USA does with their own special sports events (like superbowl and nascar and world series and etc...). And then there's the Canadian sports content, like HOCKEY !!
That hockey is found all over the b3v channels :)
Now, that may have added fuel to the "wanting the bev" syndrome, but that wasn't my intend.
Some would love a thread like this to post their gripes. But at the same time maybe some will see that you can't just push b3v under the carpet and ask what's the big deal?
DN programing is fine but don't let yourself be fooled that b3v content is not up to par

i think it is channel 672 off the top of my head, GolSP :)
ANd Silver Screen Classics channel I never mentioned. It's on the 82w sat and is an SD channel. Some great classic flicks on that channel :)
And speaking of PORN... lol were we speaking of porn?
lmao, anyway, the 82w sat was one of the first American sats to carry porn. That happened a long time ago and at the the the b3v boxes were hacked and sold 1000's of them in California... 1000's and 1000's... lol and who ever said that b3v means little to americans :noidea:
disclaimer...
the remark about 1000's was an exaggeration. I tend to think big when it comes to boobies, umm, I mean porn :tehe:

The 82w sat dropped the porn a couple decades ago (moved to 91w). Around about the same time I started getting bad eye-sight
We do know thou that this is about the b3v content and not what is actually available thru these PS services :)
My thoughts are also that the b3v adult content will never be viewed again.
It's too "risque" :manner:
