c/p Culiacan, Mexico -- Over 10,000 fans are expected for the Julio Cesar Chavez Jr vs. Billy Lyell showdown at the Banorte Soccer Stadium here in Culiacan.

Advance sales have been very strong. Hundreds of fans have watched Chavez Jr and
Lyell at their workouts during the week. Freddie Roach, chief trainer of Chavez Jr., has taken pictures with fight fans and has signed hundreds of autographs.

The Top Rank Live! broadcast will begin 9:30 pm eastern with a preview show on Fox DePortes. The opening bout will be Saul Roman of Culiacan against Michael Medina of Monterrey, Mexico. Chavez Jr., 41-0-1, of Culiacan will defend his WBC Silver Middleweight title belt against Lyell, 22-8-0, of Youngstown, Ohio.

Broadcasters Rich Marotta and Genaro Hernandez will call the action on a Top Rank Live! fight card Feb 5 at the Maywood, California, Activities Center. The card will be broadcast live on FSN.

Every site I have seen says that this fight is going to happen tomorrow night, well actually tonight (1/29/2011) on Fox Deportes. This article which came from boxingscene.com is the only one that I have seen that it will be on PPV on the 5th.

Even Top Ranks website, which who is putting this on, says that it will be on tonight.

The fight is tonight and the mistake of date no my fault of course.I just c/p article just as I find them.So it on fsesp 855 but with the big fight on hbo who will watch this.Fsep usually gives two or three fights and I hope the chavez fight comes on late so I can watch.

It does seem like places like boxingscene would fact check their articles before posting them.
