Ok I must be losing it I am trying to use a bracket I have not used in several years it's mounted on an 18" dish just to get 110/119 now in the picture it shows 119 mounted to the arm with 110 to the left (fron behind dish) I have always used it with 110 mounted to the arm and 119 to the left however I can not seem to get 110 to lock I am plumb and level at the mast I know it's got to be something simple am I wrong in the way I am mounted to the bracket I am in Northern Ontario should 110 not always be mounted to the arm

Nope - looking from from behind the dish 119/110/91. Lock onto 110 and 119 should come in by skewing the dish.

Opps I typed it in reverse I can't get the pic to load but with a 2 Lnb Bracket the 119 LNB mounts to the arm correct? this is one of the non skewable dishes and brackets

Supossed to be idiot proof guess I showed them no way I can get a lock on 110 LOL must be a line of sight issue although I can't see anything in the way could be a hydro wire

So are you using a yoke or a poor mans bracket ? I believe on poor mans 110 mounts on the arm. 18" is on the small for 110/119 from your location - you might not get all tps on 119.

You can mount either LNB to the arm. What matters is the position of the other LNB in relation to the LNB mounted to the arm. The 119LNB should be east of the 110LNB. The 110LNB will be lower then the 119LNB as well. Below is a pic of mine on a 30" dish:

In the above pics the 119LNB is at the end of the disharm and 110LNB is mounted lower and to the west on my "Dekkard Sat-Arm".

i did not know the 18" dish was skewable get yourself a skewable dish(hydro wires will have no effect) be careful of trees though, sig. works fine in winter but when the leaves start popping out you will lose sig.or make a bracket like one above,y brackets and skewable dish you can prob. find on kijiji

A skewable dish? . . . ? Where is the fun in that? The point of the thread is to modify a 18" non-skewable dish to work with 2 sats.

That's real neat - wouldn't an L shaped bracket, with 2 elongated slots, (as opposed to S) be an easier set up ? One would be able to change the angle and height at will?

On the contrary, the second arm is bolted at the rear of the disharm which allowed adjustment until the "S" bracket was fabricated to the right spacing. Here is a shot of the back of the 2 disharms:
