WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated the Q&A section of his website. Here are a few highlights.
- Ross followed up on comments regarding Sting in his previous blog that he does not foresee Sting vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania and that he does not see Sting "in WWE any time soon."
"Will Sting ever come to WWE? Does a 51-year-old guy want to engage in an ambitious, road schedule or any schedule? Could a deal be done and all the pieces be put in place before WM27? Is Sting even remotely interested in re-entering the squared circle on any level? I don't know the answers to these questions nor, would I suggest, does anyone but Sting himself," Ross said.
- Regarding potential assignments at WrestleMania 27, Ross said, "I am unaware if I will be doing any thing at WM27 other than some appearances at Axxess and attending the HOF."
- Ross was asked about a random list of potential 2011 WWE Hall of Fame inductees including Abdullah the Butcher, Vader, Owen Hart, Great Muta, and Brian Pillman.
"I would suggest that Abdullah is likely on a short list for Atlanta. The other names have not been actively and publicly discussed to any significant degree my limited knowledge," Ross said.
Ross added in response to a separate reader question: "I would suggest that Abdullah's best chance of going into the WWE HOF would be in his hometown of Atlanta. Time will tell as I'm sure that we'll know ASAP who the inductees are going to be."
- For some humor, Ross was asked why "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson and "Macho Man" Randy Savage have not been "abducted" into the WWE Hall of Fame yet.
"I'm happy that Rock and Savage haven't been 'abducted.' I do feel that both will be 'inducted' some day but that's not my call," Ross said.
- Other topics covered in Ross's latest blog on jrsbarbq.com include Chris Jericho's new autobiography, THQ voice-overs for the upcoming WWE All Stars video game, the UFC 126 PPV and Super Bowl this weekend, the progress of Vader's son in wrestling, and more.
