so i was updating my clydia because the newer version came out..
there was some sort of freak accident either with my wifi or that someone turned off my router or something but the itouch went giggly on me and then error popped on the screen.
when i re-booted, it only showed the apple logo and it was like that for a good 15 minutes.
drat.
so i google it and they said to do the hard reboot and that's holding your power and the home button for 10 seconds.
i reset the itouch but when the logo came on, it also was like for 15 minutes of nothing.
then tried the itunes way.. hold the power, home button, and pop in the usb all at the same time with itunes open... then let go of the power button but continue to hold the home button for another 10 seconds..
beep.
itunes sees it and there is a usb/and itunes logo on the itouch... woohoo, progress.

now on the itunes, it's going for the complete restore.. i figure that's great because at least i can use the itouch again... HOWEVER, it want's to install the newest version 4.1.2.
drat...
i didn't know this until later but if you have saved (from online) the older patch, you can hit the alt key on your keyboard and click okay on the itunes and it will ask what file you want to download, which is the older version.
anyways, the new OS was installed and my itouch is good to go.
so now what? 4.1.2 tethered? no thanks.
that's when i found out about green pois0n. i installed it and it works no problem.
installous installed
winterboard installed
and yes, clydia new version installed.
the only thing i don't like about greenpois0n is their logo. they made the apple logo change into it after a couple of seconds after you turn it on.
this freaks out my daughter who happens to play with it 24 hours. hahahaha
