There a lot of Flurocarbon lines .....make sure its 100%.it is nice line to use i have a spool of it on now.i usally use spiderwire braid, but in waters with a good current i like Flurocarbon it is worth the money. As long as you comparison shop for prices it is almost 100% invisable in the water so very good for clear waters also.Seaguar also makes more then 1 type of Flurocarbon lines its a wide price range.

I used to use spiderwire braid but have switched over to stren braid. Amazing strength for the dia.

I like that stren braided also, reasonable pricing, not much memory to it and strong as steel for a small diameter.. I find the flourocarbon to brittle ..
I have a hard time breaking 8 lb test stren braided when a jig gets really hooked on a log.. Brought up some pretty big peices of wood with it and some huge pike too on the 8lb test.. Huge like 25+lbs..

Flourocarbon can be a pain in the nutz if your catching wood all day..Be sure to use snap swivels at all times..Ecspecially with baits that rotate..

LOL there is a sweet spot in a river connecting two huge lakes.. Water is about 6 ft deep, bottom is loaded with downed trees and branches but huge walleye hang out there.. Its jigging and tandem hook setups there and you will get hooked on logs and branches.. Wouldnt try a rapala in that area..LOL

Then the big walleye will go elsewhere.. I prefer keeping the underwater forest. The big ones dont bite elsewhere in the river than in that 50 sq foot section.. Move off towards one bank and its big Pike...
Heaven on Earth for a fisherman..

We have a blast there, we are a little masochistic, the curent is pretty strong in that river and we use floating jigs ith a weight four feet up the line ..Can you say were looking to get tangled..LOL
Walleye love a live leach on a red floating Jig.. We call it instant meal..

Fluorocarbon line works best when running leaders..fluorocarbon lines are mostly stiff and keep the shape of the spool.Light line vs heavier line works best.
I starting using fluorocarbon line over 20 years ago fishing for steel head (rainbow trout) in the local streams...use to piss a lot of people off when I would walk down to some of the holes along the stream and catch my limit in an hour and those fokers would be there all morning with out a bit...lol...one of the best Japanese secrets that ever got out (Fluorocarbon)

JCO I think Todd meant that he would let you use his Stihl chainsaw to fillet those big walleye's lol

Secret is the knots. However you tie your knot. Krazy glue the knot. Lose less fish.

I use Dynamite, more fish for the bang, full boat in nothing flat…..
