Not a chance............Luongo is a figment of the press`s imagination and their defense is almost non exsistent esp now that so many are injured. When the playoffs start and the teams start tightening up defensively Vancouver is always left in the dust.

as an avid fan of the Canucks...will they go all the way...realistic.... i hope they do. they will be a team to reckon with, they have the tenacity to play well, also to play not well... last nights game with san jose shows you that.....Louie is my big concern... in the playoffs he has to be who he is and play extremly well, and earn the big money he gets..... cory as a back up he is the best back up in the NHL. and between them, they "could" bring the cup to B.C... the team it'self can play well, and I feel we could see a 1994 all over again, but this time bring the cup to Vancouver.......................however, I hope we dont meet the Sabres in the play offs, as they are my fav US team, not only that N.P would lose a lot of money to your's truly....lol. in closing I say Go Canucks...p.s I am going to see the game on Wed in Vancouver the Colarado Game. I will wave to you all...................lol

have loved the Canucked since the King Broduer and Apps days . have a number of their jerseys including the "clown" jersey (that debacle of the 80's)
I do not believe Loungo is the one to them to the cup. They have a gaet core but are still missing a couple of keys to the Cup. I believe in the next 3-5 years they will hoist the cup but not this year!!!

They have never been this deep and luongo is not carrying this team at all!If you look at their Ga and Gf they are insane,Best PP 2nd Best PK lead in points Daniel and Hank are top in scoring.Missing top 2 dmen and still winning.Cory Schneider has Luongo's back.Bottom line if they want the cup bad enough they will win it all this year.

Last nights game was a clincher for the Canucks, the highlight was Rome's goal, but more so Henrik protecting the puck and letting it go. that is CLASS........history for the club was made, and more history to come......................
