I read somewhere that to receive the english audio package on tp 19 you just need a factory file, is this true? Has anyone had any luck with these channels. I have a factory file and all it says is no video no audio.
Thanks.

Yes you can get the Audio( music) to work,, However they are NAG2 encrypted,, Basically what you need to do is load the last NAG 2 file for your receiver and manually enter the keys for Globcast in your key menu,, They don't change the keys very often,, So your go from there.
To get the keys try Google ing them

Thanks for the info, do you know if the iks bins will work or only the nag2 bins?

Iks bins won't decode n2.

Indicating which receiver you are attempting setup would help us help you.

Google Globecast keys , Click on the link with the word 'fresh' in it, it is the set @ the bottom with the title "Globecast (C101)" you need to put the entire key in
Key 1: XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX <CURRENTLY ENDS IN 55
Key 2: XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX <CURRENTLY ENDS IN 95
Make sure you "save or apply" the new keys and should be ready to go
Just checked,,currently audio is working w/keys

Factory file for FTA Andy...
As far as what's on there, there are 200+ free channels on there. See what you get with a blind scan. Your tuner on a CNX is not very good FTA. The last time I scanned with my CS6000 I picked up 220-240 channels, I can't remember. It's one sat I really don't watch

now when i blindscan...what increment do i use? 2,4,6,8,10? I have been using 4mhz....seems to bring in the most....I find the cnx sucks for true fta...if i could find my viewsat remote i would be using it....

If 4 works the best use that, Sorry but I don't know what the increments mean. I never use that receiver

The increments are like a Freq step...it starts at 11000 and goes up 11004,11008,11012..ect

I use 2, but it takes a long time.. Really depends on what 'bird' your hunting and like the poster above said its steps, so how through you want to be?

scanning with the 2mhz steps i get 117 video and 93 audio. I am using an old round *choice dish with the L shaped LNBF. My LNB skew is about 5 o'clock'ish.

Is that a stacked lnb on that choice dish?
Do you have any numbers on it?
You should have a lot more channels then that
andrshaw_3

non stacked.....the signal on the channels i get is in the upper 90's, same with the quality
il get the numbers from it after dinner...lol

Here is the dish and LNB......
I think that's a single stack lnb
I doubt if your receiver will have a setting for it.
Did you try just standard 10750?
andrshaw_3
03-26-2011, 02:36 AM
thats what i did. Under lnb freq i put 10750. I noticed too that the channels dont match the transponders on lyngsat. The numbers are all diffrent

Check out Dishpointer dot Com for the correct skew,, Also that dish seems way small, like a 30" is the bottom of really usable range for 97, I use a Spitfire LNB with very low noise (.1) and would suggest you get something in the .3 to .4 range. That .75 is eating up some of your siginal also. When alinging your go for the best siginal on the LOWEST siginal transponder and the rest will be ok...
