That would be a proprietary connector used by Dell and a few others, it's a DMS-59. They just use it to provide more than one output on a low profile card. You'll need a splitter such as this one: http://www.btecanada.com/products/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/d/m/dms59-dvi.jpg
Other cables are available with two VGA ports, or one VGA and one DVI port.

Does the monitor have both VGA and DVI inputs? If it does, the DMS-59 to VGA cable will work.... If the monitor is DVI only, you'll need the DMS-59 to DVI cable.

First the ..the VGA is analog sign
DVI or DVI -D and I it digital signal
A simple adapter will work .. to convert from dvi to vga
On a normal use ..you will not no the difference between them ..Unless you use large graphic programs .
Plus you save money on the cables . The adapter at a local computer store will be less than 10 dollars vrs a 40 plus on cables .

1boxman, either way he needs the DMS-59 to VGA/DVI adaptor... If you wanted to run a standard 15-pin VGA cable to the monitor, you would need a DVI to VGA adaptor on the monitor, unless the monitor already has a VGA input on it that you didn't show in the picture.
