owl,deer and bear

Just received my owl (it's a long eared owl) and deer skull.I did the two bear skulls myself.

Cool... out of curiosity - how did you manage to get a permit for the owl?

I hit the owl on the way hunting one morning(with truck windshield)-picked it up,put it in the freezer and then called MNR. They had me bring it in so they could see that it was not shot or any other way of killing it and they gave me a permit to have it mounted.

yep, thats one of the only ways you will ever get to stuff and keep a protected animal. either happen along an already dead one or accidently kill it. the mnr is quite cool about these things, as long as its presented to them and reported its yours.
