What is the BEST true FTA receiver

So far i've only used cnx true fta receiver, and from what I've read they are not very good with that because they only offer limited tp frequencies, the signal finder is poor, and no way to input additional info for scanning.

I would like to know from a few seasoned true fta pros to let me know the best and cheapest top quality true fta receiver. I only want it for true free ku band feeds, however if there is one with c band feeds also, please let me know.

My favorite is the coolsat 4 and 6k. The scanning is strong with a good tuner.

I have to agree with chifut, for the money the openbox is what I would recommend. With that stb you'll open all fta and hd channels with exception of 4:2:2 feeds.

I totally agree with chifut & costactc. Openbox S9 is a great receiver from what I've read.

I noticed in your post you are mainly interested in Ku...But you mention C Band...

Do you have a C Band dish?
The reason I mention is because C Band opens up much much more the Ku. True FTA Ku is great, but C Band is where all the good channels are & where a HD box like the Openbox will shine
