it has just been announced that Ottawa is going to retire the Point Henry lifeboat. located here on the west coast out of Prince Rupert, they are going to replace it with a smaller boat, which they say will get to a point faster.............Excuse me Ottawa. the west coast suffers some tremendous and heavy weather, a boat the size of point henry is needed...and speaking from experience. I myself broke down a few years ago in my boat, i called the coastguard, as I had lost my engine, and the weather was turning bad. the point henry came to my aid and towed me to Prince Rupert...and may i say SAFELY so Ottawa, please re- consider your motives and spend money here in Canada, where it is needed...............Thank You
