pandigital (Kobo) Black

Has anyone that has this unit done the upgrade on it
My sister has one and found out that she could not borrow book from the city library that the white is the only one that does and I was wondering if the upgrade on there site fixes this

We have the Pandigital 9". If your sister goes to hxxp://www.overdrive.com/software she can download the Overdrive Media Console for Android which allows you to add Library's and barrow ebooks and audio books. She should be able to go to the site and download it straight to the tablet. If it wont install she will have to go into the settings on the tablet and under applications check Allow install of non-Market applications. Hope this helps.

This is the unit sold by Chapters isn't it ? What do you think of it - I read some negative feedback on it back in december.

well chapters sells the (I think) Kobo what is the same as the pandigital
I like mine so far it uses Epub books and on the 7" you can download an android app that lets you borrow from the libraries in Canada for sure I think that app is built into the 9" one The only thing I dont like is that it switches from landscape- portrait to easily but that can be turned off too
I have not figured out everything with it but all and all it is good Saved Mabs and I in the city the other day when we needed to Google an address lol
