2004 Ninja

I have a 2004 Ninja 250, and my battery keeps dying. I bought a new one. it works for a while and then died after about a month. Almost like its charging when I use it, but not as much as it should be. Any idea on what this could be?

when is the last time you did your points and condensors? a bad condensor may affect your charging. of course, i am basing this on my 1978 suzuki 750, so the tech may have changed...but it's something to consider

try disconnecting the alarm if equipped. if not, you're going to have to diagnose a parasitic drain issue. it doesn't seem right that an 04 would have charging issues. i assume you did the basic cleaning all the connections? make sure everything is tight? i had a similar issue when it turned out my cable was loose.
