The F-18 has dropped its payload: Charlie Sheen has sued his former employer Warner Bros., and Two and a Half Men showrunner Chuck Lorre for $100 million. He’s also suing on...

Sheen could very likely win the suit.

Actually, the suit has little merit. The studio made every attempt to help Sheen, who clearly has some bad problems. Now Sheen's lawyer wants to color those attempts as acceptance of his behavior? If his antics that we have seen since are indicative of what was going on while he was on set, and there is little reason to believe that he would be any different, this suit could damage his career more than anything else.

It's a shame when a long and decent career gets over-shadowed by something like this. Charlie might as well go hang out with Mel Gibson and the other stars that Hollywood won't touch with a ten foot pole.

There is no morals clause of any kind in Charlie Sheens contract. ...and that is a huge deal when it comes to Hollywood contracts. It is also the reason they haven't been able to fire him.
I still say Charlie will get some big money out of this suit and it may not be 100 million it will be big.

I agree, he will see some money from this. Unfortunately it will probably also mark the death of his career as an actor. Reality and celeb gossup shows on the other hand will have a field day with him.

That's debatable. I've looked at the contract and he has violated parts of it. Particularly this one. :)

"Any publicity, paid advertisements, press notices and other information with respect to the...Series shall be under Producer's sole control (excluding normal, incidental, non-derogatory publicity relating solely to Performer's involvement with the...Series...). Therefore Performer shall not issue nor consent to, nor authorize any person or entity to release any such information without Producer's express prior written approval."

I really can't see any lawyer in his right mind wanting to take someone as unpredictable as Sheen into a courtroom. And remember that this action also opens Sheen to countersuits which could make that $100 million look small in comparison.

Charlie was fired on the grounds of Moral turpitude ! How can you fire someone on those grounds if there is no stipulation in his contract. 99% of actors in Hollywood are morally corupt and that is a whole lot of turditudes !

Bottom line though is going to be that he violated terms of his contract. He also made no attempt to take any legal recourse against any of these claimed acts that he says happened. :)

Just a question, are any of you lawyers?
