I have setup a wireless router running dd-wrt in client mode to serve as a wireless adapter for a nano premium. Everything is working great but when I connect my notebook to the network the router running in client mode disconnects. It seem as though I can have only one wireless connection at a time.
Any ideas?

Have you tried setting it up as a repeater instead ?

Certainly what I would do as well, Repeater mode will let you use the wifi from your router as well as using the ports for ethernet

No I have not, I will have to look into it. Does client mode only allow 1 wireless connection to the main router?

Just so your clear on my setup, I have 2 routers one is the main one acting as a client. The client router is connected to the main using wifi.

If they both have dd-wrt, they both can run in repeater mode

Just to add , when running both in repeater mode, Make sure that you set each one with a different IP .. IE .. Set one to 10.0.0.1 and the other one to 10.0.0.2
