is it possible to catch this bird from Toronto? Would I be able to get a decent signal if i have a clear shot with 18" or is a 24" required?

yes it is possible.

I'm using an 18" directv dish and standard lnb to pick up 129

Toronto is right in the middle of the 129w strong footprint area according to Satbeams.com - footprint guide.

A small 19" dish is the minimum size recomended for your location on that sat, an 18 should work but you could get snow and rain fade fairly easily.

Can you kindly post your LNB settings?

LNB settings ? . . . ? I think you mean receiver settings. Receiver settings would depend upon the type of LNB(Legacy or DP) and the answer to the settings question would also be dependant on what receiver brand is being used.

Sorry I guess i wasn't clear. Can I use the same LNB that I use for 61.5?

Also can one of you post a picture showing how close is 129 compare to 119? No matter what I do I can't get 129. I have birddog meter too :-)

I just set up a 1000.2 today in the GTA (just east of the Don Valley) on an SV8K and was able to dial in all 3 birds. The "Q" reading I got are as follows 110 - 100%, 119 - 93%, 129 - 68%. I suspect that the 129 is lower as a result of the grossly underpowered power supply on the SV8K (may have to utilize external power if a problem arises).

I made sure that the mount was as plum as was humanly possible and rough set the dish close to the correct azimuth and elevation then covered the outside LNBs with foil. The settings for elevation, according to the satfinder at freehostia, were a little off for me. My elevation was about 3-4 degrees higher to peak out the 119 bird. Scew was about right and after uncovering the 110 and 129 LNBs alternatively I dialed in the scew and the results showed the 100% and 68% respectively. The sat scans yielded excellent results too.

May have been just dumb luck but I believe it was the info I garnered from multiple posts on this site. right now I'm as happy as a pig in ......

Good for you, Good Job:thumbsup:
The 1000.2 are pretty easy dishes to install if you have the mast plumb and your
angles setup correct.
