It looked to me as he might have over extended his left leg.But while laying on the canvass he was holding his right leg?All in all another lacklustre wbc heavyweight bout.Salud..

It seems like his knee gave out.The punch he got hit was not that devastating.I thought he would give him a good fight.

I watched it on HD (380). EPIX tried its best to put on a show but it was doomed before it even started. They did not have a translator for the post-fight interview. Lennox was definitely prejudiced against Vitali and kept propping up Solis before the fight. The other two clowns should be selling pizza instead of covering such a major fight.
Lewis tried hard to come up with an explanation and the others jumped in in agreement - that Solis "suffered a pre-fight injury but took the fight just the same - for the money"....which is a bunch of horse radish as far as I am concerned.
Solis is not, was not, a legitimate contender for the WBC crown. Sure he was good as an amateur but that was 15 years ago. He does not belong in the same ring as Vitali. Solis is a heavyweight bum and I mean that literally because he can't stop eating. He bloated to nearly 300 pounds and had to shed most of it for this fight. Consequently, it weakened him. But $1.5 million euros is the most he ever saw in his life and he succumbed to that temptation - take the fight and on the first serious confrontation take a dive.
No need for speculating injury before the fight - that is all speculative nonsense.

Not his fault, amigo. He is fighting according to the rule....take on whoever is on the "mandatory challenger" list and Solis is on that list. Vitali was angry. He had to be restrained by Wladimir....
