Slimline usually refers to a DirecTV Dish. So what dish do you have ?

Hi Will,
I guess you are right
It is Direct TV WorldDirect with dual LNB but I also had one from DN too when contract are done.Right now sit on the roof but can I use neither one for FTA. I want to get 110,119,129 but I dont know the DN dish had 2 or 3 LNB otherwise I am getting a dishpro plus.
BTW I thought I post an image but where is the attachment image when posting new thread.

That DTV dish, if you have the LNBs with it as well, has a Standard Circular Polarity dual output LNB and a Standard Linear single output LNB. The LNB bracket holds the 2 LNBs 6 degrees apart(made for DTV 95.0W/101.0W). You could use this dish for 110,118/119,129 with the right LNBs and a magic bracket. However, if you have a Dish 1000.2 then that is, of course, the way to go. You could always use that DTV dish for 97.0W or some other Linear FTA birds.

Hi Will
So that dish is no used to me unless I get the triple LNB with the magic bracket or soever to get 110,118,119,129 and that is what is exactly what I am looking for. How ever how much is the LNB becuz I google the dish pro for 70 bucks and come with dish and lnb.

Very few FTA receivers can directly run the triple LNB from Dish, it needs more current to run right then most receivers can safely supply, so you would also need the DPP44 switch for this LNB, it will provide the needed DC power for the LNB.

This switch needs its own separate coax to run right with an FTA receiver.

is it really because I am using triple lnb with dish 1000 and I could get all 3 bird except that some on ceil signal not that strong.
so how much is the dp44 switch cost about and what does it do
any info here i do research

You will have to Google for a good price on that switch, you can find used ones and new ones.

The switch connects between the receiver and LNB, the 3 outputs on the LNB go to the LNB inputs on the switch, you can add a forth LNB from another satellite to the last input if needed.

The DC power inserter needs to go to receiver port 1 of the switch, this must be by it's self using its own coax, receiver output ports 2, 3 and 4 can be run to any receiver.

The nice thing about this switch is you can add another by daisy chaining and use 3 more receivers (it has to be hooked to a second power inserter like the first switch) this would give you 6 receivers to watch, a third switch can be added to the second one.

This switch will power the 3 head LNB from dish without any problems, and if you use good high quality RG-6 quad coax with the pure copper center conductor you can run the coax about 150 feet or more without any problems

ok so I have a slimedish currently subscribed with DN. Would I able to use that dish to get 110,119,129 with it. I believed it had triple LNB for my SV 8000 receiver.it sat on the roof of the business building. The reason I ask because I pay too much for it but dont have golf channel and it cost 14 bucks extra for that.
