what difference does it make if is Montreal or canucks this team are all canadian and they deserve our support ,remember we play in a league that has teams that are based on the usa and they have over 24 teams compared to our 6 or 7 so no matter which team make it remember they play in desadvantage of numbers ,so go habs and canucks go.jm2c

i don't have a favourite....my team is out! but i do know that the road to the stanley cup is a long tough road, and whoever does reach this holy grail, will certainly deserve it!!

Don't get me started on Bettman and his idea that teams in the middle of deserts belong where they are and not in the Canadian Market..Hell we could support alot more franchises then most of these bad market "NHL propped up dying franchises" that they have alot of in the states...It kills me when many American teams can offer 4 tickets 4 meals and 4 beers for $90....You can't even get one ticket for standing room for that much in most Canadian teams who sell out consistantly...Toronto alone could probably support three NHL teams (MLSE would never let that happen) but still doesn't change the fact...6 lousy teams in a 30 team league...Whats wrong with this picture...lol..Sorry just had to rant a bit...lol....

so true, they thought the money was in the US market.......now there crying to bring them back, however only 6 canadian teams, we need more in ?Canada... lets bring one into Manitoba, only if the fan base is there...and yes we Canadians pay too much to see a game...then again look at the money the players make...FAR. FAR... TO MUCH...

Of course other teams may oppose new area's simply because it may take the fan base away...but you look at New york.....2 teams...also Alberta Flames and oilers......one can but rey.....

NYC has 2 teams because their population is 8 million.......1/3 of all of Canada........:D

new york can support two teams, as the state of new york alone is more then the entire population of canada..lol...but the only chance canada has for a new nhl franchise is winnipeg as well as some guy in quebec figures he'll have one in 5 years with a new building.

edit; ok the power of google...ny state pop is roughly 19 mil, canada pop, is 33 mil...so i am off a tad..lol

Quebec is a tough place to host a team......the metro population is less than 1 million......less of a pool for diehard fans to fill the seats when things are going bad....the major reason they were relocated......:noidea:

i would love to see nhl come back to wpg! the new mts center is a little small, holds about 18,000, but they have options to increase capacity....i think extra boxes was the talk.

After the last 2 times the canucks did well in the playoffs THEN decided to decimate the team....... i am an ANYONE BUT CANUCKS FAN. (i live in BC also)

in all honesty i understand how you feel, i've been there......................but you have to have faith and hope this could be the year.... so far the team is a team. and my concern is Louie....but the way he has been playing, i would say we stand a good chance......so I will say I WILL be shouting for the Canucks.......like you I am also a B.C.'r.....................
