There should be a "Jumper" that needs to be pulled off the MB. Grab the manual, or download and read it.
Find the jumper and remove, reboot, and power off, then replace jumper. The jumpers look the same as the Master/Slave ones on a hard drive

There is a set of 3 pins on the motherboard, and it's marked with reset password. Take the jumper off and put in on the other pins- then turn the pc on and back off- the password will be gone (along with all other bios settings.

Here's a sample pic::

but the jumper is set towards right side aqnd one pin openly visible on left side and other 2 pins behind the jumber.

if is this the right jumper, please let me know which direction i have to move.

And at that Jumper place written "BIOS CONT..." I can't read completely there.

J8HI is what my jumper looks like- I pulled one apart to look here. Bios wp is what it's labeled with. The connector was near the sata plugs and you pull the jumper off pins 1-2 and put it on pins 2-3 to reset. I can't make much from your pics, but it looks like pic one would be where I would start looking. On this one- it was the front left of the board with the front of the computer facing me

The wording is a little different (happens) but yeah- that's what I would change. Take the pin and move it over. You will have it on the same middle pin when you move it. Make sure you touch the frame every time before you reach in, the power is off when you switch the pin, and you switch it back when you're done. I checked and when the pin here is moved- it boots to bios (because you wipe it by swapping the jumper) and then tells you to put the pin back when you exit.

But of course, I would just swap the pins but you should look on the board a little more to be sure before doing it. It should say somewhere what the pins are. Makes you miss the old days when the map was a sticker on the inside of the cover- lol'ol It'll say the

You can search online too, by putting in the model number- to be absolutely sure before you do it.

Hi there I take a chance and move Jumper to left pins, then ON/OFF Power then remove POWEr Card from PC. Now I like to know can I reput back that JUMPER on its orignal position before orignally it was.

Thanks for all your help.

Take the jumper totally out then power cycle the PC (unplug the AC power cord) this should do a complete BIOS reset.

Then power it down and put it back in the original position, your # 3 shows the correct jumper.

Hi Terryl, now I want to follow last step on your suggation. Do you mean like this I have to do
1)-Took out Jumper completely.
2)- Power ON PC with no JUmper at all. After 1 minute wait then Power OFF PC.
3)-After this Remove Power cable from PC.
4)-Now I Put the Jumper on its Orignal Position.

Please make me correct.

Thanks

Beeps are normal after bios posts- most pc's do it if they have a speaker on board. Chances are, if you didn't hear it before the onboard speaker was disabled in bios (which was wiped to remove the password)

thanks a lot, your answers fix my PC today, i already remove Password.

But the problem is here. I keep on trying before your suggations like this i did. Power OFF, Remove Battery, then Power ON, now again Power OFF put Battery Back. After doing this I heard sound when ever I ON the PC like two sounds with shotr durations when ever open PC. But the rest all working fine like windows boot up completely and working fast.

Just I am worry about 2 Sounds, how to disable it or how to remove.

But any way from last many days my PC locked, once I post my problem is solved and your suggation help very well

Thanks again

Just to be sure- it is only beeping when you turn it on, and no other time? Meaning, it either shows a black screew when the bios posts or a backdrop (usually the case) and before the screen shows windows loading it beeps.

This is normal and is an audible indication that the bios is loaded. If the beeping happens constant or at other times it is beeping an error code- sounds just like the bios beep but want to be sure?
