boston is really gonna have to pull up there socks for this long time rival. they have been inconsistent,,, but then again the habs have stunk it up as of late.lol... couldn't ask for a better first round match-up. if the series comes to push and shove...i'll take the bees hands down!

What channel is RDS?

probably going to best series of playoffs, sure to be in round 1 anyway and I wouldn't bet a nickel on this one but expect it to go 7 games

rds is a french channel found on bev.
if you can't find it, just stream it live, plenty of sites to do that.

wonder why CBC has English feed and CTV would have the French one (RDS French version of TSN owned by CTV before anyone asks)

The Habs don't even deserve to be in the playoffs. They are there because the season ran out.
Bruins in 5 and the only game Montreal wins is in overtime with a lucky bounce goal while on the power play.
A small team like Montreal doesn't have a chance in play off hockey . Could get ugly :)

I definitely have to agree that the Habs are a bit undersized but they are faster then the Bruins. Key to series is goaltending and power play. Habs in 7.

not being a Habs fan, however I feel as this is a new season for them, they will turn it up, and Boston can go back to the bush and be the bruins they are......look for surprises, this series will go to 7 with at least 2 overtimes, and the Habs will prevail...............................

Well Toronto beat Boston in a season series too. Doesn't mean anything.....playing every other night
against a crashing team like Boston is going to take its toll, not to mention Montreal is already banged up.

well no quality shots means one of 2 things.. either Bruins really suck on the offensive or Mtl simply outplayed them hehehe
I am not any Habs fan and I still expect this to go 7 games but Mtl made the Bruins look like some bush league minor team tonight
A great game, Habs skated, capitalised on oportunities and will grant the Bruins their wish .. Another 4 games and Boston can start playing golf..LOL

Did Boston even have a game plan ? Not taking anything away from Montreal but Boston expected another 7-0 drubbing by just showing up.

Yup DU I figure its not only possible but probable.. Boston is 0 and 27 when down by 2 games... We cant let that shutout be broken now can we???
Lets see if I can get them a decent Tee Off time after game 4..:golf::golf::golf::lolpound:

the reason the habs won. was because they spoke French to the bruin players, and by the time they deciphered what was said. the habs scored...not fair play i say....but good tho' lol

Cobra.....
The Boston Bruins took a little steam out of the Canadiens tonite in Montreal but the Canadiens still lead the series 2-1.
as per TSN
MONTREAL -- David Krejci, Nathan Horton and Rich Peverley gave Boston a big lead Monday and the Bruins held off a furious Montreal comeback to post a 4-2 victory over the Canadiens.
Montreal, which took the first two games in Boston, still leads the best-of-seven Eastern Conference quarter-final 2-1 with Game 4 set for Thursday night at the Bell Centre.
Andrei Kostitsyn and Tomas Plekanec scored for Montreal, which went on full attack in the third period against Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas, who looked shaky at times.
Chris Kelly ended the drama with an empty-net goal with 36 seconds left to play.
Montreal outshot the Bruins 36-24 on a tough night for Canadiens goalie Carey Price.
The crowd of 21,273 was roaring before the game even started, sparked by an appearance by legendary captain Jean Beliveau holding a torch. But it was the Canadiens who looked to be lacking focus against a closer checking Boston team than they had faced thus far in the series.
For the first time in the series, the Habs failed to get an early goal. Boston opened the scoring at 3:11 of the first when Patrice Bergeron set up Krejci in the slot to bury the Bruins' first shot of the game.
At 14:38, Horton took Zdeno Chara's rebound off the end boards and banked a puck off Price that defenceman Jaroslav Spacek just failed to sweep away before it crossed the goal-line.
Price was the culprit as Boston made it a three-goal lead 2:02 into the second. His clearing pass was picked off and Peverley shot into the open net.
But the Bell Centre came to life as Kostitsyn, back from missing a game with a foot injury, undressed Chara on a rush and slid the puck between Thomas' pads at 7:03.
Montreal cracked up its intensity in the third and Plekanec scored at 4:08 when, on a rush against Chara, he spun and fired a shot along the ice that again went in between Thomas' pads.
Chara, who returned after missing Game 2 with dehydration, played his first game in Montreal since his controversial hit March 8 that left Habs winger Max Pacioretty with a concussion and a fractured vertebra.
The Bruins captain was booed loudly every time he touched the puck, but he got the same treatment even before the Pacioretty incident. Chara was used heavily on the night, but was not at the top of his game.
Notes: With Kostitsyn back, Yannick Weber was dropped despite having scored in Game 2. ... Chara bumped Shane Hnidy out of the lineup. ... One goal in the first two games was Boston's lowest total since it was shut out twice to start a 1995 series against New Jersey. ... The Bruins will spend two days in Lake Placid, N.Y., and return to Montreal on Wednesday night.

Montreal will someday learn you have to cover the slot and not let Bruins stand in the crease banging away right in front of their check. I actually felt sorry for Price tonite.

Before this game ends...somebody explain something to me. What the hell is Julian doing????? Boston has forced the game all nite long, Boston has owned the corners all nite long, Boston has owned the boards all nite long. The times the Canadiens did control the puck for a few seconds they dumped it up the ice on basicly a hail Mary play. With all that a fact and a 1-0 lead why for the love of Mike did Julian break stride and go to a 1-2-2 defensive mode with 6 mins left thus giving the Canadiens something the Bruins took away all nite long----a free pass out of their zone and time to make a play. Watch Boston in the OT-----they go on their rush and break it off to a 1-2-2 killing their work in the slot. If the Bruins lose--point the finger at Julian.

Lots of hard work tonight and basically crashing the net rebound goals was the only way to beat Price tonight. You're not going to do it with shots from the blueline.

Right on bro, both teams deserved a lot of praise as do the refs for putting their whistles in their pockets and letting the guys play some old time hockey.
Julian should be dumped in Boston Harbour.

That was one tight series....3 of Boston's 4 wins were won in OT...It's a shame we lost one of our only 2 Canadian teams so early. At least the officiating was not horrible tonight like so many other games in this years playoffs...it's alot better when they put their whistles away for the 3rd and OT periods and just let them play....
I tip my hat to Price and his team. sad to see them go but there is always next year
The habs played well considering the injured players .. Its a young team and theres always next year..
