If we were to get verizon pixi palm , they l give 5gig of download per mo. What is the step by step to config cell ph. thru router ? The router is already flashed to dd-wrt . Testing sv 8000 hd v 1 with i-hub upgraded to svlan with private server . Router is Links wrt54gl flashed to dd-wrt with standard bin . The repeater works fair at times but other times get to much freezeing due to the AP repeating is unlocked an to far away , and hard to get . Useing a antenna with large cable , forget what it was called { low loss or ? } IDEAS ?? Thanx :noidea:

IF your carrier supports tethering, you can tether the phone to a laptop, or possibly a router designed for a mobile internet stick. You can't share the phone's data plan with a standard router.
Keep in mind that not all carriers and plans allow tethering.

If the signal you are picking up is just "weak" and that's one of your problems, there are a ton of antennas out there for cheap that would bring that signal up enough to use for what you want .
You would want any decent type of a directional WiFi antenna and some good low loss/RG8/lmr400 cable with a "N" type male connector on one end and a TNC type female connector for the router /repeater side...
As far as the Phone, as Satchick stated, you would need to see if you can tether your internet plan...i.e. can you either plug your phone into your laptop and use it for your internet, or make a "hotspot" using your phone...?
